Voice Dialogue and Meditation

Meditation can feel great and rewarding one day and hugely frustrating the next. What is it exactly that we are trying to “do” when we “sit” in meditation? How can we bring the wisdom of Voice Dialogue, the Psychology of Selves, into our meditation practice?

Using the technique of Sitting with Selves we can begin to clear away the concepts we have about what makes for a good meditation and open to a new and fuller contemplative experience.

Find out how a good meditation can interfere with the deepening of your practice and a bad meditation can enhance it. Begin to witness the informed consciousness which underlies the tension of opposites.

Some of the Sitting With Selves™ exercises include holding the opposites of the rational mind and the intuitive mind, holding the opposites of the physical body and the mental intellect, and holding the opposites of the open heart and the resentful heart. This technique is helpful for those who wish to meditate but never do, for those who want to strengthen their practice and for those who are new to and curious about the Psychology of Selves and meditation.

Join Iudita and her partner, Jonah and experience the power of Sitting With Selves™, the practice of contemplating opposites. Sitting With Selves™ is taught in private sessions and group setting. To learn more about their travel schedule and to set up an appointment, email Iudita and Jonah at iudita@mac.com.
